Glass jar keepsake full of dirt/sand from the groundbreaking ceremony for the shared campus of Polk Community College and the University of South Florida. This campus would later become the Lakeland Campus of Polk State College. A golden colored label is on the side of the jar. "1986 PCC~USF Lakeland, FL." is printed on the center of the label in dark green. The jar is sealed with a clear plastic top.

These stress balls, affectionately referred to as "squishy brains" were given out to students in the library during finals week as well as at various campus events.
